Join the Statesboro Tree Board and Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful for the annual Arbor Day Celebration at Fair Road Park on Saturday, February 21, as we proudly celebrate 33 years as a Tree City USA community!
This year’s event will include a special Memorial Tree Dedication honoring the late Henry Clay, the initiator and longtime member of the Statesboro Tree Board, whose dedication to urban forestry and community stewardship leaves a lasting legacy.
The celebration will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including a tree walk with species identification throughout the park, youth activities, free saplings, and a tree giveaway raffle. Community members are encouraged to participate in our food drive, where donated items serve as raffle entries. We invite attendees to bring non-perishable food items and pet food to support the Statesboro Food Bank and the Humane Society, helping extend the spirit of Arbor Day through community giving.
Organizations interested in volunteering or hosting a table at the event are encouraged to email ksbb@statesboroga.gov for more information.
