Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful has partnered with AgSouth Farm Credit, Georgia Power, and the City of Statesboro to host its annual Bring One for the Chipper event. This program allows citizens to dispose of their Christmas trees by recycling them to be chipped into mulch or transformed into a fish habitat.

There will be two locations for citizens to recycle their Christmas trees.

City of Statesboro Public Works will host a drop-off location for trees beginning December 27, 2022, through January 13, 2023, during normal operating hours.  AgSouth will host a drop-off and chipping event in its rear parking lot on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• AgSouth Farm Credit (40 S Main St, Statesboro, GA, 30458). Located in the back parking lot closest to City Hall.

• City of Statesboro Public Works (5 Braswell St, Statesboro, GA, 30458).

Those who bring their Christmas tree to be recycled on January 14 at Ag South Farm Credit will be thanked with complimentary seeds for planting, seedlings, and free mulch upon request.
