Join Us for a Community Tree Planting at Kennedy Pond Conservancy!

Georgia Interfaith Power & Light and Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful invite volunteers to help plant 150 native trees at the Kennedy Pond Conservancy on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community, support local ecosystems, and help grow a greener Statesboro!

  • What to Expect: Walking over uneven ground and working outdoors in uncovered, unshaded areas. Please wear pants, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, & hats.

  • Provided: Gloves and planting tools, water, and snacks.

  • Important: Please keep in mind there is limited access to bathrooms on-site.

  • Participation Requirements: Volunteers must complete a volunteer waiver to participate. Click the link below to sign up.
