Join us Friday, October 24, from 3–6 PM at the Statesboro Food Bank for a Community Tree Planting & Free Tree Giveaway!
KSBB was awarded the 2025 Georgia ReLeaf Grant, making it possible to give away 100 native trees—including red maple, little gem magnolia, tulip poplar, and more—to Bulloch County residents. This effort supports expanding our local tree canopy and creating a healthier, more sustainable community. Funding is provided by the USDA Forest Service in partnership with the Georgia Tree Council and Georgia Forestry Commission.
Attendees are asked to bring a photo ID and a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank. Guests will also have the chance to learn proper tree planting techniques as we break ground on a new mini-fruit orchard.
Let’s grow a greener, healthier community together—one tree at a time!
