Join us on Saturday, May 9, from 9 AM to 12 PM as volunteers come together to make a visible impact across Statesboro. The Great American Cleanup, founded in 1999 by Keep America Beautiful, is a nationwide effort to create cleaner, more beautiful communities. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, our community is invited to come together and make an impact. The national goal is to remove 25 billion pieces of litter from parks, waterways, and public spaces by July 4, 2026.

Volunteers must pre-register and will check in at the designated location, where cleanup assignments will be provided.

Check-In Location: Statesboro City Hall Front Porch, 50 E Main St, Statesboro, GA
Cost: Free + fun volunteer appreciation for participants
Supplies: All litter collection equipment will be provided

Whether you're an individual, family, or organization, this is a great opportunity to give back, connect with others, and help keep our community clean and beautiful. More details, including registration and cleanup locations, will be emailed with your registration, so be sure to check back and get ready to roll up your sleeves for a great cause!
